The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at FAU is dedicated to offering intellectually enriching educational experiences to adults of all ages. Courses are taught by FAU professors and distinguished guest lecturers. Course offerings include such varied subjects as foreign policy, music, art, history, science, literature, philosophy, current events, and films. Single performances and multi-week series are presented year-round!
Gumbo Limbo is a 20 acre park dedicated to environmental education, research, and conservation of many Florida plants and animals. Probably best known for their work with turtles, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is a coastal and marine experience unlike any other!

Daggerwing Nature Center is set within the beautiful Burt Aaronson Park. It features a 3,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall with live animals and interactive state-of-the-art exhibits, laboratory, art gallery, butterfly garden, and an elevated boardwalk with two trails, as well as an observation tower. Throughout the park you will see abundant plant and animal life including: osprey, woodpeckers, butterflies, turtles, alligators, and a wide variety of bromeliads.
